Volunteers Needed: National Geographic Bee at Estabrook

We'll be conducting the National Geographic Bee at Estabrook School for the 4th and 5th Grade students this year. It is an annual competition organized by the National Geographic Society, designed to inspire and reward students' curiosity about the world.

Preliminary rounds for all participants will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2019, from 12:45 pm to 2 pm. (Please note the updated time.) Top 10 scorers of the preliminary rounds will move to the Final round. The Final round for the 10 finalists will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2020, from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm.

We're pleased to say that we have overwhelming response from our 4th and 5th graders. We’ve a record number of students participating in the Geography Bee this year.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: We need 4 volunteers as time keepers and scorers on December 11 and January 8. Volunteers CAN NOT be parents of the participants. An ideal opportunity for parents of 3rd Grade (and lower) students who want their children to participate in Geography Bee in coming years. If interested, please email volunteers@estabrookpto.org with Subject: "Volunteer for Geography Bee."
